MK’s Parent and Toddler event was a great success

We were delighted to welcome new and expectant parents along to our free baby and toddler event at 360 Play Milton Keynes on Wednesday 27th February. It was a great opportunity for local families to try out informative classes and workshops from leading professionals on topics such as breastfeeding and baby first aid. We welcomed over 25 local businesses who all had stalls throughout the centre for parents to browse and enjoy and there was all the usual 360 Play fun to be had too making it a great day out for young families and a great introduction to the centre for anyone visiting us for the first time.

View of the centre

“It was a great event, well organised and an opportunity to meet families in an informal setting.” said Tamsin from Water Babies “I love the way that there are activities for all ages of children and the children are encouraged to explore and use their imagination whether it is dressing up or chasing bubbles”

stallholdersKate who hosts Baby College classes at our centre on Friday mornings said “Having been invited to attend the Baby & Toddler Fayre at 360 MK Play as an exhibitor I have to commend the team on the organisation and press surrounding this event. It was a very well turned out event and it was a pleasure to meet so many bumps, babies and toddlers. It was also an opportunity to meet like minded businesses. Can’t wait for the next one!”

happy stallholdersOur management team put together the event with the support of the local business community and our staff were thrilled with the turn out. “We have had some great feedback from both stall holders and customers” said Assistant Manager, Steff Kelleher-Crook  “Some customers said their favourite thing about our facilities is that ‘There is something to do for all ages and loads to do’ and ‘Knowing my grandchildren are always safe’. We would like to thank all the stall holders and customers that attended and made it a successful and enjoyable event for all.”

360 Play’s 7th centre opens

360 Play Rushden Lakes opened its doors to the public this week and Mayor of Rushden Cllr David Coleman was on hand to help us celebrate our seventh centre and to enjoy the first of two days of our exclusive Golden Ticket preview days. Our centre manager, Lauren Jenkins and the rest of the team have worked incredibly hard over the last few weeks and it was great to see it all come together.

The new centre follows the proven formula of our existing locations with a wide range of activities for children, from toddlers up to the age of 12 and all of the activities included are designed so that adults can join in the experience too.

“We have been overwhelmed with the brilliant feedback and response from our customers during the Golden Ticket preview days,” said centre manager Lauren Jenkins. “The reception we have had welcoming us to Rushden Lakes has been great. We look forward serving the communities in this region and would like thank everyone for coming along to celebrate our opening with us. The new team of over 40 local recruits have all worked really hard and we’re looking forward to welcoming lots of families to the centre over half term and into the future.”

360 Play Rushden Lakes features a host of attractions and activities, including;

A multi-storey central play frame featuring elements such as a sports themed area, urban skateboard style area, ball showers, ball zones, slides and more. Classic family rides including family bumper cars and our well known carousel. 360 Street creative play zone which incorporates 10 individual play buildings such as a fire station, supermarket, pizza parlour, post office, vets and pets, car garage/body shop and dressing up boutique. There’s also our messy play area which has a daily timetable of activities to enjoy, all included in your entry price.

The centre also incorporates some new elements with a baby sensory room and a designated Sports Zone incorporating ping pong tables, table football and basketball area and also includes the longest football table in England!

A classroom and party space offers groups and members regular classes and activities to stretch the imagination while delivering educational learning.

After spending most of the morning exploring the activities and even joining in the play with Mayor Cllr David Coleman, the Mayor’s Consort, Melanie Coleman said “What a fabulous facility for Rushden. Thank you for the lovely welcome.”

“We are so thrilled David and Melanie could join us and help open up our new centre.  It doesn’t seem like 10 minutes ago we opened our first business in Milton Keynes with the aim of delivering a family destination to play together as a family.”  Said Founder and Managing Director Duncan Phillips. “We are a family business that has family at its core and we hope all the families of this region will come along and find how much fun you can have when you put the screens down and just let your own imagination drive the play.”

Christmas at 360 Play

Christmas is almost upon us and 360 Play is the place to play this winter as we celebrate the festive season with a fun-filled December. We’ll be open as normal up until Christmas Eve when we’ll be closing at the earlier time of 2pm so you can spend the day with us and still have time to get ready for Santa. We reopen again on 27th December and for the first time we will be open on New Year’s Day so you can start 2019 in 360 style. Our team have put together a timetable of activities every day in our messy play area that creative kids of all ages can come and enjoy. Come and help us build a Christmas tree in our centre and share photos of your own tree on our Facebook page to be in with a chance of winning a day pass. We’ll be making lots of lovely decorations for you to take home and enjoy like Christmas wreaths, salt dough ornaments and lolly stick snowflakes. We know how much kids change from one Christmas to the next so make sure you make some foot print mementos to keep in your memory box. Your little ones can also decorate a Christmas bauble to take home and because we’re feeling extra generous this time of year, you can share your creation with us on Facebook to have the chance to win prizes. We’ll be sharing what’s coming up each week over on our Facebook page so make sure you’re following us so that you don’t miss anything!

360 Play Rushden Lakes

360 Play Rushden Lakes will be the newest attraction in the 360 Play group. This new centre is in a fantastic location and will feature an exciting outdoor play space. With six centres already operating in Milton Keynes, Stevenage, Leicester, Basildon, Redditch and Farnborough, for our seventh centre we are updating our customers favourite attractions and we cannot wait for you to see!

360 Play is often described as a softplay centre but softplay is just a small part of what we do. The wide range of facilities on offer at our centres ensures that there are activities and opportunities for all ages and abilities. Our full sized play frames and slides are big enough for parents to play on with their children and you’re never too old to enjoy whizzing around the dodgem track. For the imaginative guests there’s 360 Street where you can try out different careers, dress up in the boutique and visit the supermarket. This has always been one of our most popular activities and a lot of planning has gone into making 360 Street at Rushden Lakes the best one yet. We’ve looked at what children enjoy doing and expanded on that so that there will be more for them to do and the areas will be more interactive. The role play pizzeria will feature a scaled down wood fired oven and our post office will have a sorting centre.

The messy play areas are a must visit for all those essential, messy, mucky things parents would love to have the time to do with their children. We will have messy play activities specifically designed for our younger customers during term time that they can enjoy with Mum or Dad and the area will include children accessible sinks for an easy clean up.

All the current favourite facilities will feature at Rushden Lakes. It just wouldn’t be 360 without a carousel! There will be some new things at Rushden Lakes too, guests can look forward to visiting the sports area where you can enjoy a penalty shoot out in our football area or a game of table tennis and race toy cars on the race track on 360 Street.

There is no time limit on your visit so you could spend all day at 360 Play if you want to. Our cafe bar will serve a wide selection of beverages and family favourite meal options. You could join us for a weekend brunch or enjoy a coffee and slice of cake.

At 360 Play we are all about creating fun experiences for the children and families who visit us and obviously we love a party! Our parties have been designed to give you time to enjoy the experience while we do the work. We have a range of hot and cold food options and a dedicated party host is on hand to make sure everything runs smoothly. We have designed 5 different party packages to suit everyone’s needs and they will all be available at Rushden Lakes. Each package has been carefully developed to cater for different requirements and you can personalise your party with optional extras. Our very own resident characters, Twizzle and Twirl, love a good party so you can expect a visit from one of them too!

In today’s ever-busy world it’s very easy to miss the joy of play and what that brings to the development of our children. 360 Play hopes and desires to provide the setting to get us all having some fun together while at the same time reminding us how simple playing with children actually is.

Parties at 360 Play

At 360 Play, we are all about creating fun experiences for the children who visit us and parties are very high up on that list. While parties at home have their charm, it’s a lot of work for parents and how many of us have declared “Never again!” after an epic party clear up? At 360 we do everything for you, if you want us to. We have party packages to suit all requirements and budgets, from weekday toddler parties to a do-it-yourself option and the best part of all is that you can have fun with the kids and let someone take care of everything else! Winner!

Our most popular party package is The Classic One. This 2 hour option is available at weekends and during school holidays and includes 80 minutes of play and 40 minutes in the party area for food and party dances. There’s a dedicated party host on hand to make sure everything runs smoothly and to keep the kids supplied with squash or water throughout the party. Our 360 mascots, Twizzle & Twirl, love a party so you can expect a visit from one of them too.  And of course no party is complete without a balloon to take home!

For the little ones (Up to 4 years old) our Toddler Parties take place at a quieter time while the bigger kids are at school. Just like our Classic Party, this includes food and refreshments for the kids and your own dedicated party host. We know that little ones need a bit longer to eat so this package is made up of 60 minutes play time, 20 minutes of games and 40 minutes in the play area. Twizzle or Twirl are available to join in with the fun.

Our After School Party is a popular option if you want to have a party on their birthday or if you prefer to visit when it’s quieter. This option is only available during term time and includes food and refreshments for the party guests, your own party host, balloons and a visit from Twizzle or Twirl. With this party, the kids get 90 minutes play time and 30 minutes in the party area.

If you’re a do-it-yourself person then our hostless party is a great option. Your 2 hour party can run however you like and is our most budget-friendly package. There is food and drinks available for the kids but does not include access to the party area or include reserved seating. As always, our team are happy to assist you in getting seated.

Have you ever wanted your own attraction for a day? With our Exclusive Party it’s all about you! This is a great option for an event or special occasion – 360 is exclusively yours to use for two hours after our normal opening times. Hot and cold food buffets can be arranged or we are happy for you to take care of the catering yourself. With space for 100 guests or more, this is a great way to include everyone in your celebration, without any of the clean up!

With all of our parties there’s the option to include party bags and sandwich platters and refreshments for the adults (Hello, perfect hostess). The food options for kids is stuff you * know* they’ll eat without a fuss – burgers, fish fingers, nuggets and fries or a sandwich pack and there are allergen free options available too.

For more information, visit our party page or give us a call on 01908 247170.

Welcome to our new look 360 Play website and blog!

360 Play is a revolution in indoor play. Our six (soon to be 7) UK centres are open 7 days a week and we offer an all-inclusive play experience. It isn’t just a place where kids can have fun, it’s also designed for them to be able to learn through play in a safe and secure environment, whatever the weather, and the perfect place to wear them out. It’s somewhere they can be active, creative and unleash their imagination. The range of facilities on offer means there’s something that everyone will enjoy and our play structures are large enough to fit grown ups too so even the biggest kids can get involved. With obstacles to explore and ball pits to dive in, it’s a great opportunity for children to be active and for them to learn and interact together. For our younger guests there’s a separate toddler area away from the main play frame with sensory activities and scaled down versions of their soft play favourites.

360 Play Basildon

360 Street is somewhere children of all abilities and interests can play together in a fantastic imaginary world of role play. You can stock up on groceries at the supermarket, help tend to sick animals at the vets or dress up in Twirl’s boutique.

Our Messy Play area is the place to head to for a whole host of creative activities. We have sessions running throughout the week for preschoolers and during school holidays. Most of the activities are included in your entry fee (a small cost of £1 applies for our cooking activities) and anyone is welcome to join in the fun. Children can enjoy a wide variety of sensory activities and arts and crafts, all designed to promote learning and help build their skills. For the older children, it’s a welcome change from the structure of the classroom and somewhere for them to make mess without Mum or Dad having to take care of the clean up afterwards! Take a look at our timetable on your local centre’s Facebook page to see what’s coming up.
