Rushden Lakes Opened by Mayor of Rushden

360 Play’s 7th centre opens

360 Play Rushden Lakes opened its doors to the public this week and Mayor of Rushden Cllr David Coleman was on hand to help us celebrate our seventh centre and to enjoy the first of two days of our exclusive Golden Ticket preview days. Our centre manager, Lauren Jenkins and the rest of the team have worked incredibly hard over the last few weeks and it was great to see it all come together.

The new centre follows the proven formula of our existing locations with a wide range of activities for children, from toddlers up to the age of 12 and all of the activities included are designed so that adults can join in the experience too.

“We have been overwhelmed with the brilliant feedback and response from our customers during the Golden Ticket preview days,” said centre manager Lauren Jenkins. “The reception we have had welcoming us to Rushden Lakes has been great. We look forward serving the communities in this region and would like thank everyone for coming along to celebrate our opening with us. The new team of over 40 local recruits have all worked really hard and we’re looking forward to welcoming lots of families to the centre over half term and into the future.”

360 Play Rushden Lakes features a host of attractions and activities, including;

A multi-storey central play frame featuring elements such as a sports themed area, urban skateboard style area, ball showers, ball zones, slides and more. Classic family rides including family bumper cars and our well known carousel. 360 Street creative play zone which incorporates 10 individual play buildings such as a fire station, supermarket, pizza parlour, post office, vets and pets, car garage/body shop and dressing up boutique. There’s also our messy play area which has a daily timetable of activities to enjoy, all included in your entry price.

The centre also incorporates some new elements with a baby sensory room and a designated Sports Zone incorporating ping pong tables, table football and basketball area and also includes the longest football table in England!

A classroom and party space offers groups and members regular classes and activities to stretch the imagination while delivering educational learning.

After spending most of the morning exploring the activities and even joining in the play with Mayor Cllr David Coleman, the Mayor’s Consort, Melanie Coleman said “What a fabulous facility for Rushden. Thank you for the lovely welcome.”

“We are so thrilled David and Melanie could join us and help open up our new centre.  It doesn’t seem like 10 minutes ago we opened our first business in Milton Keynes with the aim of delivering a family destination to play together as a family.”  Said Founder and Managing Director Duncan Phillips. “We are a family business that has family at its core and we hope all the families of this region will come along and find how much fun you can have when you put the screens down and just let your own imagination drive the play.”
