We are Back!

We are delighted that we will be reopening in line with guidelines on Wednesday 2nd December! The team are busy getting everything ready to welcome you back and we’re gearing up for lots of festive fun in the lead up to Christmas. We wanted to share more about our commitment to delivering a Covid secure venue for families to come and spend quality time together and answer some of the questions that you might have ahead of your visit to 360 Play Town. 

Halloween Vouchers: 

If you attended our Halloween Spooktacular event then you will have been given a voucher to join us for a free visit during November. Unfortunately we had to close our doors during the most recent Lockdown and so we will be accepting these for a visit in December instead. We are unable to book you in online with these vouchers so admission will be dependent on capacity when you arrive at the centre. If you have additional family members in your party they will need to book tickets online before your visit.

Pass holders:

Additional time will be added on to your peak, off-peak and quarterly passes to make up for the period of closure. You can visit without booking during weekdays in term time but for weekends and school holidays we would advise you to book online via the request for on the Redditch centre page. 

Covid safe measures:

As a Covid secure venue we are constantly reviewing the latest government advice and adjusting our protocols to make sure your visit to us as safe as possible and you can rest assured that a lot of hard work has gone on behind the scenes to make sure your visit with us is as safe and fun as possible. We appreciate your cooperation in helping keep our staff and customers safe by wearing face coverings, utilising the hand sanitising stations

inside our stores. It is mandatory for all guests over 11 to wear face coverings during their visit when in and around the centre unless you are medically exempt. We will continue temperature checking all guests and staff on arrival and maintaining strict capacity levels for our sessions.  

Visiting from a tier 3 area:

The government guidelines state that if you are in a tier 3 area you shouldn’t travel to other lower tier places within the UK unless absolutely necessary and to support the national effort to reduce infections if you live in a Tier 3 area we recommend not booking tickets at this time. We are only following the guidelines and mitigating the risk to other customers. 

Parties:

Unfortunately we are not able to host parties at this time. We appreciate that it is disappointing for children to not be able to celebrate and that you may wish to meet with friends and family. At the moment the tier 2 regulations state that you cannot socialise with other households indoors so we would like to politely request that you only attend a session as your household bubble and do not bring others along with you. 

Session times:

You will need to book online before visiting us at 360. You can book sessions online for the following time slots.

9.30am – 11.30am

12.30pm – 2.30pm

3.00pm – 5.30pm

If capacity allows then you are welcome to stay and play for longer.

A Successful Spooktacular Halloween

Our Halloween sessions went down a treat this year, with customers enjoying the new Pumpkin Patch along with the always popular Trick or Treat Street. Children could also create magic in Messy Play as well as enjoy all the usual 360 play features.

We’ve got pumpkin for you to be excited about this October!

Carve out some fun at 360 Play this half term where bewitching surprises await you for our Halloween Spooktacular. Get your favourite costume ready and join in the Halloween spirit with the 360 Team who are cooking up a whole host of spellbinding and covid safe activities and fang-tastic prizes, including the chance to win an annual pass! Your little monsters can enjoy up to 3 hours of safe and not so scary 360 fun along with pumpkin carving in the brand new 360 pumpkin patch and Trick or Treating on 360 Street. Make sure you stop by the 360 café during your visit for some goulishly good eats and devilishly delicious desserts*. It’s going to be fa-BOO-lous!

We have been working hard behind the scenes to find ways for you to have a great time and in a covid secure way. Temperature checks and health questionnaires for staff and guests will still apply, along with reduced capacity, hand sanitising stations and removal of the loose play elements. You can still enjoy 360 Street with your own individual prop bag which is available at reception.

To comply with safe social distancing there are only a limited number of tickets available so book early to avoid disappointment.

If you have a 360 Play day pass or voucher then we have great news for you, you will now be able to use this on your next visit to 360 Play!

Up until now we could only accept advance online bookings and we haven’t been able to process vouchers due to the restrictions placed on us by Covid-19 through our booking system. The team has been working hard behind the scenes and you can now visit us using your voucher or day pass and without pre-booking Monday – Friday until 23rd October. We know that your voucher may be out of date but don’t worry! We will still accept them when you visit us before this date.

The vouchers we can accept include:

Covid-19 Safety and Cleaning Measures

Welcome back, we would like you know about the precautions we are putting in place. All the following will apply:

We politely request that you refrain from visiting 360 Play should you start displaying any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19.

The main symptoms of coronavirus are:

  • a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
  • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

To support the health and safety of guests and staff during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic 360 Play will be using non-contact thermometers to screen the temperature of each guest and employee before they enter. Guests who do not wish to undergo the temperature screening or who have a raised temperature of [37.8°C or above], along with their household group, will not be permitted entry but will be offered a full refund of the admission price of their ticket. No record of the temperature will be retained and the data will not be used for any other purpose.

Face masks must be worn from 8th August

From the 8th August 2020 it will become mandatory for visitors to indoor settings to wear a face covering. Children under the age of 11 and those who have health, age, equality or disability reasons may be exempt from wearing face coverings, details of this can be found at https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/face-coverings-when-to-wear-one-and-how-to-make-your-own/face-coverings-when-to-wear-one-and-how-to-make-your-own

Therefore we ask you to wear a face covering before entering 360 Play and keep it on until you leave except when eating or drinking at your table.

The wearing of face coverings is intended to protect us all, our staff will not routinely ask for written evidence of exemptions. The law requires us to take reasonable steps to promote compliance with the law, non compliance could result in refused entry, being asked to leave the premises or fines from the authorities if you do not have a valid exemption. We ask you not to put our staff in a difficult position by complying and wearing your face covering.

Please be aware that the wearing of face coverings is not mandatory for those working within indoor settings, our employees will continue to follow guidance from 360 Play based on workplace occupational health and safety risk assessments.

Our family visit to 360 Play

Like most parents, COVID has brought a lot of fear into my life. To the point that I didn’t even go to a shop for 13 weeks, just walks with the family where I knew I could socially distance myself. As time has gone on I’ve found confidence in doing lots more things So, as we try and find a ‘new normal’ it was important for the girls (and my own sanity!) that we found places to go and enjoy together still. 

When I heard 360 was opening but without its usual soft play; like others I questioned how it would be possible? How would it work? What facilities would be open? How would I book? How would I keep my children and I safe whilst still having stress free fun? Today I booked in and wanted to talk you through the process. 

Booking:

Booking was a simple process online. It enabled me to book us in for an allocated time- I selected 3-5pm. I have attached the prices in my pics. I then received my tickets via email. 

Arrival:

I arrived and saw that there were signs informing me of where to stand and their procedures. Someone came and took our temps and sprayed our hands with anti bac. We then went to reception, showed our tickets and each child received their own bag of toys to play with whilst there. Protected screen between the employee and us. 

 

Facilities:

We went on the dodgems, which was sprayed in between users and socially distanced rules applied at all times. We then went upstairs to the street where my girls and nephew loved playing. They enjoyed the variety of toys in their bags and they have several barcodes to scan in stations which gave us quizzes to do and games to play. This really was a perk for us as it gave us lots to talk about and play. My girls particularly loved the vets one about baby animals.

 

Outside we played in the sand, boats and the climbing frame. It was lovely and the kids all really enjoyed it! We ran out of time to go on the carousel as time slipped away nicely, however that looked great too and wiped in between sessions. We really did spend more time on things we wouldn’t usually, which was a really nice experience. 

 

Food and drinks are still available- I enjoyed a lovely mocha. 

Basically, the experience IS different. If you’re expecting a soft play centre like before then you will be disappointed. However if you are expecting a fun place to take your kids for a few hours that is cheap then it’s perfect. The price reflects the fact it’s not all open. 

For me, a nice hot drink with happy children made me smile and I felt super safe and confident at all times. It’s nice to find some ‘normality’ and this afternoon certainly didn’t disappoint. So much so… I’ve booked in for later in the week! 

So I would definitely recommend for anyone considering it. I hope to anyone feeling nervous I’ve helped reassure you, as I totally understand the anxiety surrounding finding our new normal but every time we do something like this I feel a step closer to normal (and a little more sane 😉)
