MK’s Parent and Toddler event was a great success

We were delighted to welcome new and expectant parents along to our free baby and toddler event at 360 Play Milton Keynes on Wednesday 27th February. It was a great opportunity for local families to try out informative classes and workshops from leading professionals on topics such as breastfeeding and baby first aid. We welcomed over 25 local businesses who all had stalls throughout the centre for parents to browse and enjoy and there was all the usual 360 Play fun to be had too making it a great day out for young families and a great introduction to the centre for anyone visiting us for the first time.

View of the centre

“It was a great event, well organised and an opportunity to meet families in an informal setting.” said Tamsin from Water Babies “I love the way that there are activities for all ages of children and the children are encouraged to explore and use their imagination whether it is dressing up or chasing bubbles”

stallholdersKate who hosts Baby College classes at our centre on Friday mornings said “Having been invited to attend the Baby & Toddler Fayre at 360 MK Play as an exhibitor I have to commend the team on the organisation and press surrounding this event. It was a very well turned out event and it was a pleasure to meet so many bumps, babies and toddlers. It was also an opportunity to meet like minded businesses. Can’t wait for the next one!”

happy stallholdersOur management team put together the event with the support of the local business community and our staff were thrilled with the turn out. “We have had some great feedback from both stall holders and customers” said Assistant Manager, Steff Kelleher-Crook  “Some customers said their favourite thing about our facilities is that ‘There is something to do for all ages and loads to do’ and ‘Knowing my grandchildren are always safe’. We would like to thank all the stall holders and customers that attended and made it a successful and enjoyable event for all.”

360 Play’s 7th centre opens

360 Play Rushden Lakes opened its doors to the public this week and Mayor of Rushden Cllr David Coleman was on hand to help us celebrate our seventh centre and to enjoy the first of two days of our exclusive Golden Ticket preview days. Our centre manager, Lauren Jenkins and the rest of the team have worked incredibly hard over the last few weeks and it was great to see it all come together.

The new centre follows the proven formula of our existing locations with a wide range of activities for children, from toddlers up to the age of 12 and all of the activities included are designed so that adults can join in the experience too.

“We have been overwhelmed with the brilliant feedback and response from our customers during the Golden Ticket preview days,” said centre manager Lauren Jenkins. “The reception we have had welcoming us to Rushden Lakes has been great. We look forward serving the communities in this region and would like thank everyone for coming along to celebrate our opening with us. The new team of over 40 local recruits have all worked really hard and we’re looking forward to welcoming lots of families to the centre over half term and into the future.”

360 Play Rushden Lakes features a host of attractions and activities, including;

A multi-storey central play frame featuring elements such as a sports themed area, urban skateboard style area, ball showers, ball zones, slides and more. Classic family rides including family bumper cars and our well known carousel. 360 Street creative play zone which incorporates 10 individual play buildings such as a fire station, supermarket, pizza parlour, post office, vets and pets, car garage/body shop and dressing up boutique. There’s also our messy play area which has a daily timetable of activities to enjoy, all included in your entry price.

The centre also incorporates some new elements with a baby sensory room and a designated Sports Zone incorporating ping pong tables, table football and basketball area and also includes the longest football table in England!

A classroom and party space offers groups and members regular classes and activities to stretch the imagination while delivering educational learning.

After spending most of the morning exploring the activities and even joining in the play with Mayor Cllr David Coleman, the Mayor’s Consort, Melanie Coleman said “What a fabulous facility for Rushden. Thank you for the lovely welcome.”

“We are so thrilled David and Melanie could join us and help open up our new centre.  It doesn’t seem like 10 minutes ago we opened our first business in Milton Keynes with the aim of delivering a family destination to play together as a family.”  Said Founder and Managing Director Duncan Phillips. “We are a family business that has family at its core and we hope all the families of this region will come along and find how much fun you can have when you put the screens down and just let your own imagination drive the play.”

Christmas at 360 Play

Christmas is almost upon us and 360 Play is the place to play this winter as we celebrate the festive season with a fun-filled December. We’ll be open as normal up until Christmas Eve when we’ll be closing at the earlier time of 2pm so you can spend the day with us and still have time to get ready for Santa. We reopen again on 27th December and for the first time we will be open on New Year’s Day so you can start 2019 in 360 style. Our team have put together a timetable of activities every day in our messy play area that creative kids of all ages can come and enjoy. Come and help us build a Christmas tree in our centre and share photos of your own tree on our Facebook page to be in with a chance of winning a day pass. We’ll be making lots of lovely decorations for you to take home and enjoy like Christmas wreaths, salt dough ornaments and lolly stick snowflakes. We know how much kids change from one Christmas to the next so make sure you make some foot print mementos to keep in your memory box. Your little ones can also decorate a Christmas bauble to take home and because we’re feeling extra generous this time of year, you can share your creation with us on Facebook to have the chance to win prizes. We’ll be sharing what’s coming up each week over on our Facebook page so make sure you’re following us so that you don’t miss anything!

We have some new ideas in 360 street
