Your First Visit to 360 Play: What to Expect

Planning your first visit to 360 Play? From what happens when you arrive to what you should pack and everything waiting for you inside, here’s what to expect from your first family day out with us.

Arriving at 360 Play

When you arrive, our reception team will welcome you and get your visit started.

If it’s your first time with us, we’ll ask you to register a few basic details. This helps us check your family in and out safely and makes future visits quicker and easier too. As part of our check in process, we’ll also take a photograph of everyone in your group when you arrive. It’s one of the extra steps we take to help make sure every little one leaves safely with the adults they arrived with.

Once you’re checked in, our team will explain anything you need to know before you head inside. If you have any questions during your visit, there will always be a real person at reception ready to help.

Keeping everyone safe

Play should be exciting, but safety always comes first. Our team carries out regular checks throughout the centre, while our play equipment, rides and facilities are maintained and inspected as part of our safety procedures.

Children remain the responsibility of their accompanying adult throughout their visit, so grown ups can get involved, explore together and keep an eye on their little adventurers.

There are also a couple of important things to remember: socks must be worn on the playframe, while shoes are required for the Dodgems and outdoor areas.

What to pack for your visit

A little preparation means more time for play when you arrive. Here are a few things worth knowing before you pack your bag.

Socks? Yes!
Socks are essential for our playframe, so make sure everyone who wants to join in has a pair. Children’s socks can be purchased from reception if you have forgotten a pair or two.

Nappies and changing essentials? Yes!
Bring everything your little one usually needs for a day out. Forgotten the nappies? Don’t panic. We keep a small supply at reception if you get caught short.

Shoes? Definitely.
You might be kicking them off for the playframe, but keep them handy. Shoes are needed for our Dodgems and outdoor play areas.

Picnics and food? Leave them at home.
We don’t allow outside food or picnics inside our centres, with the exception of baby food. Our café has food, drinks and snacks available when hungry explorers need to refuel. Explore the menu here.

In short: pack the socks, pack the nappies, keep hold of the shoes and leave the picnic basket at home.

So, what can you actually do?

This is where the fun begins.

360 Play is much more than soft play, with different ways to play, explore, imagine and create throughout the centre. Climb, crawl and whizz your way around our three storey playframe, or let little ones explore spaces designed especially for younger visitors.

Then head to 360 Street, where imaginations can take over. Serve up pretend pizzas, do the weekly shop, care for animals at the vets, become a firefighter, fix a car, build something brilliant and create your own adventures through role play. And that’s still not everything.

Take a spin on our Musical Carousel, get behind the wheel on the Dodgems, or get creative with our Messy Play activities. Water Play are always a hit and are found either outside or near our Messy Play areas. Selected centres have outdoor play areas, giving families even more to discover. Explore all of our attractions here.

Best of all, our rides and activities are included with admission, so there’s no need to keep reaching for your wallet every time something catches their eye.

Stay, play and make a day of it

There’s no need to race around trying to squeeze everything into a short session.

At 360 Play, you can Stay and Play All Day, giving you plenty of time to explore, stop for something to eat and then head straight back into the fun.

Our cafés serve meals, drinks and snacks when you need to refuel, with plenty of seating for those all important play breaks.

Ready for your first 360 Play adventure?

Every family plays differently. Some children make a beeline for the playframe, others could spend hours creating adventures along 360 Street, while some simply want another go on the Dodgems.

There’s no right way to explore 360 Play. Take your time, follow their imagination and discover your family’s favourite way to play.
