Peter Bone, Member of Parliament for Wellingborough and Rushden dropped in to visit the team at 360 Play to see how the sector was starting its recovery after the impacts of the pandemic. During his visit he saw how families are coming back to rediscover natural forms of play and physical activity, after the long lockdowns. He watched one of the pre-school classes, Hartbeeps, who deliver classes within 360 Play to many who became parents during lockdown, before riding the dodgems and seeing the 360 Street role play zone in full swing.
Duncan Phillips, Founder and Managing Director said “ It’s so good to be able to show how important physical and connected play between parents and children is after such a long time resorting to digital entertainment. Our business, like many in the indoor leisure space, has been drastically impacted over the last two years and to have our local MP visit and see how important our role is, as families come out of the impacts of the pandemic, is a great support”.
